Cassandra Ann Colling's in good company with her style icons.

Naming Tippi Hedren, Edie Sedgwick, Audrey Hepburn and her grandma Barb, the 30-year-old skin therapist at Ulta in Fargo says fashion in the 1960s shapes her style.

I spotted Colling at Stumbeano's Coffee Bar and liked her mix of dressy and casual pieces, flawless makeup and unique collection of fashion influences.

Describe your style. Classy and retro with an edge.

What are you wearing today? My top and blazer are from LOT 2029 in Fargo, my necklace is from Proper & Prim, my suede-like leggings are from Target and my shoes are DSW.

Where do you shop? Locally, Proper & Prim and LOT 2029 but I shop online a lot at H&M and Nordstrom Rack.

Who are your style icons? Tippi Hedren, Edie Sedgwick and Audrey Hepburn. My grandma Barb always wore lipstick, rings and scarves—was always dressed to the nines. I enjoy all the different eras for one reason or another. The 1960s may be one of my favorites.

What are some of your favorite things in your closet? Both are from Proper & Prim. I love my royal blue maxi dress with pleats and lace and a floral shorts and crop top set.

If could splurge on something, what would it be? A dress from Bergdorf Goodman.

What's your signature look? A sweater or blazer over a top, black jeans and flats. I rarely wear blue denim jeans.

Who's the most fashionable person you know? My friend Erin Hafliger.

Do any cities inspire your style? Minneapolis and Bozeman, Mont. The people in both cities have character and their style is within my realm.

What's your fashion philosophy? Always pull yourself together because you never know who you're going to meet. First impressions last. Plus it's fun, and I view it as an extension of yourself. It's a way to express your soul, it's a form of art.

What lipstick are you wearing? It's Urban Decay Matte Revolution lipstick in After Dark. Even though it's matte, my lips feel hydrated.
